BUFFALO
okay, enough lamenting, unless it will constructively help us with the rest of the season (hence, new thread).

What do we know about Buffalo players/field/weather? Where is a good place to park it overnight? I was thinking hitting the Falls, but Amherst is closest....any opinions?

Enough 03-weeping and more 04-chairshot !!!

don't even know where UB's field is, so I won't be of much help. Flashes return from dissapointing game strong 42-14 Kent.

Havn't been up there in years. If you go to Canada, have a nice Cuban for me. Hopefully it will be a celebration cigar.

Isn't that always the forecast for Buffalo?

yeah, should be the town motto or something. I used to complain about our "lake effect", until I found out Erie's REAL snow toilet is from Erie to Buffalo.

You guys have a good team...take the drive up to Buffalo, stop off at Duff's near the Amherst campus for some wings and enjoy the game. We could use the extra fans in the stands.
The Packers are in town for Sunday's Bills game so all the good bars/wing joints will be pretty busy Sat. night. Big Sabres/Toronto game too. All in all it's a very good sports weekend in B-Lo.

I love Duffs, great wings. MY friend's GF goes to UB and we always get a ton of wings whenever we go out to UB.

From past experiences at UB, expect a real crowd of 2K annouced at 5k (not an attendence dis, KSU has nothing to brag about), plenty of parking on campus, but you have to pay $5. Weather should suck, I wish they'd play this game in September or even October for once.

Prediction
KSU 26
UB 10

I don't think UB is as bad as the record indicates, could be close. Gil has the improving even if they still aren't getting the Ws.

I'm a little more optimistic about the crowd. Partly cloudy and low 40's is nice. I know several people that are going because they will already be in town for the Bills/Sabres games. I say actual crowd about 7,500.....paid attendance 12K.

The Bulls defense is woeful so if they get ANY production out of that unit, it could be a decent game, otherwise its a blowout for Kent St.

Buffalo is a nice own. If you gamble, the Senneca Casinos in NY and the Niagara casinos are pretty nice. Also, make it a point to hit the Anchor Bar or the French Creek Tavern near Peak and Peak for some great wings. And while you are there, pick me up some Yuengling. I can't get it where I live!

GO FLASHES!!!

Do I get to charge a delivery fee? Like, maybe basketball tickets when it doesn't conflict with football?

And I promise not to drink all of it before I get back to Ohio....and how do I know you're over 21? hmmmm?

What is Yuengling? Only America's oldest brewery and maker of the fine brew that needs only 1 name - Lager! I'm not far from Yuengling so in these parts people that don't know what Yuengling is are far and few between. :drinky2:

The only things I missed from home at Kent were garbage plates http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garbage_plate and the easy availability of Yuengling.
