They were in pads on Fri., but didn't hit. They will on Sat., might even run a few plays in scrimmage. The women are there at practice to observe & maybe even do a little coaching.

I went today on Saturday and some of the new players are looking good, I didn't see them all. The only question mark I had on the new players, is that Tommy Briggs was having trouble catching the ball when I was watching him twice. I think Luke has a great arm and Venible looked good at the fullback position. He's a huge one at fullback and will definitely scare some LB's when he gets his chance to play next year!

I think your right in that it's b/c of the rust that he dropped those passes. His blocking looked good, so I think by the time the bowl game comes in April he should be catching those passes and should make a major impact in the TE position.

Just got back home, as usual, had agreat time. Wife,Mother, and two daughters went to clinic and had a great time. However, they will need more clinics. Worth the weekend when Wife won Cajun helmet and they put 62 on back, already sitting on mantel. Scrimmage was very spirited for second day in pads. Thought J. Babb looked sharp. Both offense and defense looked good at certain times. I believe they ran 49 plays, on practice field with referees. It is fun to move around and listen to the different coaches and their styles.

glad to hear the ladies had a good time. I saw a girl (can't remember her first name) with the last name Comiskey on the news last night who was attending the clinic, is that Sean's wife? How is Greg holding up so far?

Hodges looked good when I went, I remember seeing a lot of running backs but don't remember seeing Levier, b/c some of the players had different numbers. I saw some running backs with different numbers so he was probably there, but I didn't know his number. With saying that, I saw a running back that looked bigger than the rest of them and someone said he was bigger than the rest, so I'm guessing that was him. That guy looked good when I watch them.

My wife thinks Sean's girlfriend and two sisters were there. The ladies got a spring roster, but I have not found it yet. Only injury I saw Sat. was a defensive back, his elbow. Saw him with ice on it after practice and he said it wasn't bad. Side note, took the family and a few of the guys to eat crawfish. Love the tails, but did not try nor understand the head thing. Greg does it but his sisters thinks he is just showing off. Plan on being back next weekend. Looking forward to watching the basketball game and rooting for Cajuns to advance.
