Jack Willimas came up with 2 huge plays now, a pick here for a TD and the pick earlier in the game when Toledo was going in for a score.

Those billboards..."On the Hunt" couldn't have been more accurate.

This team is hungry and they seek out the football.

I wouldn't want to be wearing a white shirt today...Kent is absolutely tenacious on defense.

Opelt has been running for his life; he's been hit on almost every play and there have been some punishing blows in this game.

I wouldn't try anything if they get the ball back, take a knee and 26 pt lead into the locker room.

I'm a bit surprised (pleasantly) at the halftime score of 26-0.

I expected (more hoped) that Kent would this game, but they have dominated all aspects..and again, we've made plenty of mistakes...penalties, fumbled snaps, missed extra points.

Edelman/Jarvis/Jack Williams/Kevin Hogan/Barry Drakeford....all outstanding first half performances.

Top give it right back. I said it last week, Edelman has to make better decisions with the ball. Trying to hard to make things happen, trying to toss it when 2 guys already have him wrapped up isn't a good idea - get rid of it before they get to you.

Thanks Coach Pees!

Could it be that his leaving is the best thing that could have happened to this program? That, along with his hires of Martin and Rektsis(sp)?

Dang, he had Pruden wide open in the end zone but missed by a mile. Let's punch this in!

I don't know about that, but it's amazing the feelings he has for this program. Most coaches preach it when they're in a place, hoping that it spreads to his staff and players, but for this guy to stay connected throughout all of his success and the programs' lack thereof is just amazing.

Pees recruited the juniors and seniors on this team. I think he would have managed this team well. He realized he was trying to do much and that is why he brought in Rekstis. I wonder if people think he abandoned Kent State because of the timing of the move, but that may have been his only chance at getting into the NFL. I think he knew KSU would be in good hands as long as Martin and Rekstis co-existed.

Just had a very nice tackle on 3rd down, also those 2 picks were huge. i especially think the 1st one set the tone for the whole game; if Toledo scores there I think everything would be much different.

PS: Another great hit by the D to cause a fumble right now, too bad we didn't recover.
