Head coach Jessie Evans announced on Monday that forward Cedric Williams and guard Orien Greene have been suspended from the Cajun squad for violating team rules and failure to meet academic requirements.

Funny this waited until after the Basketball Tourney, where these giys starters or were they ineligible academically???

Are they gone permanently?

They started in the SBC and big tournament. Who knows what will happen to them.

all we (Cajun fans) know is what you see in the first post. I do not think they are ineligible academically as the semester has not ended yet so grades have not come out.

Hey Swamp could it be them not going to class? Isn't there some kind of policy that if they don't go to a certain number of classes they get suspended? And that's why they got suspended during the semester.

That would be my guess also.

If that's the case, then I guess they thought after getting to the big dance they thought they were the big men on campus and didn't have to go to class. Looks like they thought wrong.
