Are you guys going to come to the game down here because last year we had as many fans as you did at the game. This is going to be the strongest and best rivalary game in the conference. You guys need to support your team and come have a blast win or lose. I also think we need some sort of trophy or something for this game that goes back and forth every year to the winner. Hope this series grows over the years and all the other sunbelt schools up their attendance because we wheren't even in a conference last year and had better attendance than any Sun Belt school according to the NCAA website.

Maybe they could ask us if Troy is going to have a football team when they get there.

I don't know what this whole attendance thing is with you. I'm proud of Troy's attendance but it isn't really a tool for smack talk. Besides this is Middle Tennesee's forum, not the smack forum.

As for everything else, I hope Middle Tennesee brings fans to Troy by the truck load. We have great tailgating and game day atmosphere in general. We have great fans that know the game well and will be happy to talk with you. 04-cheers

Oh yeah, the Trojans will be ready for the Blue Raiders. :D

GO TROJANS!

I would like to come to the game...The new stadium looks good. I watched the game you guys had against Marshall on TV last year (I live in Nashville). As far as the Trojans being ready for Middle Tennessee, I say: Join the crowd...Everyone has been ready for us the past few years...Hopefully, it will all change this year...Of course, that's what I said the year before that...and the year before that..and... :bang:

I plan to make it to Troy and hopefully this will be a long-lasting CONFERENCE rivalry.

Word on the street right now is that if UTEP goes to CUSA then along with North Texas, UL-Lafayette, and Arkansas State, that the WAC is going to pick Troy State as the fourth addition instead of Idaho.

I don't think Troy would go to the WAC it is to far away and I just think it would hurt us. I look for us to hang in the Sun Belt until C-USA lets us in. But, I heard Mid. Tenn. is going to the MAC as soon as all the teams leaving the MAC are confirmed.

If thats true, I'm delighted that they would choose Troy, thats so far away from the rest of the conference, over Idaho.

But thats the same thing that will make us stay right here in the Sun Belt. We know what side our bread is buttered on. :)

GO TROJANS!

Unfortunately, wouldn't losing that many teams pretty much eliminate Sun Belt football. Would it force both MTSU and TSU to find new homes for football...even if nothing else. :(

Yeah, you're right about that. If that many teams left we might have to go with them to have a conference home. But we need to have an all-sport conference because we have to get out of the Atlantic Sun, we hate it. The first thing you want to do when you join is find a way out.

GO TROJANS!
