Trustees approve dropping ‘State’ from TSU name

Congrats to Troy University!!! Now, just don't let the "flagships" and state legislature get in your way!!!

I wish it was that easy for us to drop the Lafayette in our name today. I hate being robbed illegally of our right to call ourselves whatever we want.

Funny part is, all these schools that have an easy time changing names and such have duel flagships, its the states like uh, Louisiana and Tenessee that worry so much about other schools that they forget about their own needs.
