Trojans sign three junior college players
TROY, Ala. - The Troy University baseball program has signed three junior college players as part of its 2004 spring signing class, two from Tennessee and one from Florida, Trojans head coach Bobby Pierce announced on Wednesday.
The Trojans signed outfielder Jared Gaston from Walters State (Tenn.) and catcher Nick Smith from Southwest Tennessee Community College, both first-team All-Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association selections, and Bryan Madril, an infielder/outfielder from Okaloosa-Walton (Fla.) Community College.
