No doubt. DI football at its finest with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
We share for the common good at our house. I take the better half's alma mater for football season, I share the Golden Flashes during basketball.

Once you sit among 80K at Notre Dame Stadium, had to get excited about the dust ups over who can break 30K in the MAC, or sadder still, possibilities of getting the chance to play the 6th best CUSA team in a bowl.

Basketball is the same way though. We get excited when we draw 5k for a game when the big schools are consistently getting 20k and up for games. I would bet Duke games and UNC games are the Notre Dame equivalent in college hoops. When you're small time you're small time, and the MAC is a small time conference. Hopefully that will improve.

Friendly wager on which school has the best spring sports season?
Signatures for a week?
04-deal

Bowling Green's baseball team is first in the East (tied with Kent State). Bowling Green's softball team is first in the East and has the best overall record in the MAC.

Is anything else the MAC does during spring truly a "sport"?

(As opposed to "leisure activity" or "something one does when one smells a gas leak.")
Ask your AD, but yeah, golf and track & field are really sports. Tennis, too.
So were you accepting the bet or quietly trying to back away? 05-mafia

I would add that BG does have women's and men's golf.
The men are currently ranked 173 out of 291 teams.
The women are ranked 172 out of 234 teams.
Just so you know. 03-yes

Yes, I am backing away. And I suppose that makes me look a little silly.

But I made my point.

Meanwhile, look at you. You are bragging about golf. :ugaexams:

KSU's dominance in MAC sports goes far beyond golf, but I suspect you knew the point I was making as well. ;-)

I'll hide behind Paul Krebs.
