If Denver doesn't find a more fitting home, looks like we are back to uneven divisions. Sure wish we could fix this.

EAST
1. Florida Atlantic
2. Florida International
3. South Alabama
4. Troy
5. Middle Tennessee State
6. Western Kentucky

WEST
1. Arkansas-Little Rock
2. Arkansas State
3. Denver
4. New Orleans
5. North Texas
6. UL-Lafayette
7. UL-Monroe

Since ULM is not leaving the Southland until 2006, hopefully with the next 2 years Denver can find a more regional home and we will have balanced divisions. I read somewhere that Wright Waters stated that the divisions could be east-west or north-south. I must say I prefer the east-west divisions as the traveling partner situation would be great that way.

Travel partners

EAST
Florida Atlantic - Florida International
South Alabama - Troy University
Middle Tennessee - Western Kentucky

WEST
Arkansas-Little Rock - Arkansas State
New Orleans - Louisiana-Lafayette
North Texas - Louisiana-Monroe

Longest distance for travel partners (I think) would be 320.0 miles from Monroe, LA to Denton, TX. Still only about a 6 hour bus trip.

I agree, the travel partner situation we have is going to be fantastic. No offense to Denver, they have contributed to the SBC and helped us in a bind, but I just think their is a better situation elsewhere for them.
