Interesting poll over on the other FIU board. Padrick is leading 7 votes to Burke's 2 and Tabor's 1. True freshman Tavares Kendrick also has 1 vote, I see that it says he is a blue-chip freshman from Homestead Senior HS. What else can anyone tell me about him?

PS looks like you guys have them lined up at QB

Tavares Kendrick (Freshman)
Josh Padrick (Sophmore)
Jamie Burke (Junior)
David Tabor (Senior)

Well if you happen to subscribe to theInsiders.com or rivals.com (im not), there is some info there on him. I think they might have confused the first name of Tavares and Tommy.

Tommy Kendrick, QB, 6-3 , 220, 4.8, Homestead, Homestead, FL

Interest from

Rutgers, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Pittsburgh, NC State.

Offers

South Florida, Rutgers, NC State, Pittsburgh

Favorites

Rutgers - "I like the kind of offense that they run. They just hired a new offensive coordinator. He runs an offense that I like to run."

UM - "They always have a great teams. They always produce great players no matter what."

Pittsburgh - "They run a lot of pass plays. They have a tradition of success."

NC State - "I like the coaches, it is a good school academically."

Notes

Where will he camp?

"Rutgers, NC State and UM"

What is the most important thing that he could bring to a college team?

"I am a good quarterback, I can read defenses. I can go deep. I can throw the ball 70 yards down the field."

What will be the most important factors determining you choice of a school?

"I want to go to a school that will look after me as a person. I want a school that will look after my academics."

Last Season Honors

"I was MVP for my team. I was honorable mention All Dade County. I also played basketball, I was third team All Dade."

Last Season's Statistics

"I had 1179 yards passing. I had 15 touchdowns passing and 5 touchdowns rushing."

This past season he was named on the First team All-Dade 6A-4A Offensive Football Teams.
