I'm not sure who created it but it seems much friendler than the other Belt board. I plan on being a regular here.

04-cheers Thanks. The other Belt board seems to be dominated by ASU and UNT and heaven forbid you say anything bad about either school or some constructive critisim about the Belt in general.

Hey I noticed you have a Catahoula as your avatar. I have a real one that is destroying everything. Do you know the dogs? What can I do to get it to stop digging and chewing.

Just to be honest, probably will get slammed, but I would say that is the same situation here, only with ULL fans.

I have owned plenty of dogs, none of them a Catahoula-I use that as my avatar because it is the Louisiana state dog. In my experience the only way to get the dog to stop destroying stuff is to give it away to your in-laws that live in the country :D Seriously, I do not know. It seems that is the nature of some dogs but not others. I do not think there is a way to stop it. :bang:

It depends on how badly you want it to stop chewing and digging.
Ruger and Colt makes a wide assortment of tools that are perfect for the job.

Just kidding.

LOL! I can't kill her. I have two children that never play with her but love her. I've tried leaving the gate open but the darn thing keeps coming back. :crying:

I think they are very smart dogs that if you don't keep them busy they start destroying.

I know what you mean.
Santa Claus brought my Daughter a Beagle for Christmas. (If you know your Beagles.....it's a Warfield Red).

Anyway, that darned dog won't shut up and won't stop digging! She is getting much better though, but the constant bark/howl will drive you nuts.

Yeah, that would surely work permanently. LOL!!!

One of the ways you can stop dogs from digging is to put something like chicken wire around or on whatever they are digging around or under; the dogs do not like getting their nails caught in the chicken wire or the impact of the nail on the chicken wire. Other materials work as well; my German Shepherd was trying to dig her way to her 'lover' the Huskie next door. I put bricks (about 90 cents each) along the fence and that stopped her attempt for a 'Love In' with the Huskie. Dogs do not generally dig on concrete, asphalt, etc.

As far as chewing the answer would be toys that the dog likes; not what you like, but what the dog likes. I weened my Yorkie from chewing the household furniture with a Nylabone. My Shepherd prefers a piece of knotted rope; she has many toys, but the wet, nasty, disgusting rope is her favorite.

 :D

Beagles are howl machines. My Cathahoula use to chew on any cords I left on the deck. She must ruined about five of them and numerous fans before I got wise and started to leave them pluged in. I’m not sure when she was “enlightened

well, your right that there are more UL fans here, but most of us encourage more fans of other schools coming on board, it makes for interesting conversation. UNT does a great job with their fans on the board (not so much on their personal bbs forum) but good interaction. Also, WKU is represented well. I dont know if you agree or not, but I see more WKU posters on this forum than on the other Sunbelt boards. I think weve all pretty much found a good common ground, we want the sunbelt to do better.

Some of the ASU fans on the other board seem to hate the Cajuns and love ULM. As long as you don’t knock me or my school we are cool. If you do then RC90 2.0 gets upgraded to the medieval version. I’m having a problem with one of your fans on that board as I type this.

Hey RC -- I have been a fan of the Cajuns since you guys were USL in the SLC with stAte back in the late 60s/early 70's; need I say more!

Go Dwight Lamar wherever you are!!!
He was an awesome Cajun BB player.

04-cheers

Well, us Western fans are cool with you all...as long as you don't go knocking our school, we are fine with ya. Now otherwise, if you knock us we'll have to use some yankee smarts and pull off a great comeback 03-wink
