I was told by the coaching staff that they are very high on at least three perfered Walk-ons this year. OL Nelson from Amite high would have been offered scholarship, but didn't have the ACT score. He went from a 13 to 19 after three test during the summer. DB Terro from Shaw high was named Def MVP in the Orleans All-Star game this past year. He played LB in highschool, but is not big enough to play there and will move to safety with the Cajuns. Ben Leonards OL from Crowley of course, everyone knows about him as well. Cajuns have invited about 12 walk-ons and expect some of these kids to play special teams. All kids that are where in summer school have qualified, including Tre Green. The first time in many years.

Great news Guru, especially about the linemen and Tre Green. I met Green at a football game last season and talked to him quite a bit. Seemed like a real nice guy.

I saw Tre Green play up here at a Neville game two years ago and he seemed to be a real good ball player. I have heard of Ben Lenoards from Crowley but the other two guys I am not familiar with at this time. It is good news that I like to hear.

Man, just the fact that we can get a few high calibur walk on players just makes me feel good about where this program is going. I mean, look at delesdernier (Sp?), he walked on, got on the team, and is now gonna start on D-Line next year and I believe he will be a stud. God, I need some football, thank god work slows down alot until after the second game of the season, i couldent go much mroe without some football.

The QB did not come in. I have not checked on the kid from Bunkie.

I sure wish that somebody out there knew something about walk-on's. In case you know would you please let the rest of know something to make things more interesting. I was kind of dissapointed that coach Bustle didn't have anything to say at the fan day.
