I had an abbreviated fan day (I received a phone call and had to leave) but it was good to see a crowd larger than last years. I got to meet several players for the first time: Brandon Cox, Bryan Lloyd, Ronnie Harvey, and Rickey Thomas. Also got to speak with Greg Hodges and Tre Green, whom I had met before. Cox told me he was up to 315 lbs. Thomas told he me will most likely be returning punts (I assume with Jerrell Carter) and right now is running second string behind Michael Adams. Adams will be wearing #2 this year and Thomas #21. I was about to go talk with Eddie Brown and Jordan Jackson when I had to leave. My son did get to speak with Eddie Brown, Antwain Spann and C.C. Brown (but I did not, too busy talking :) ) Good to see rwcajun there with his wife. I hope rw, I hope you will email me a copy of the picture your wife took with my son in it :D swamphound@hotmail.com I also ran into Crawfish and Mickzat right before I left. Z & Guru, I keep missing you guys :bang:
Again, it was a great crowd. I wish I could have stayed longer to meet more players and hear what Coach Bustle had to say. :frown:

Forgot to add that Thomas also told me that Spann had been moved to free safety and was competing with Torres Kingsby for the starting job. Morgan, my words not Thomas's, looked to still be hampered by the knee he injured last year. He was wearing a big brace at the last practice I went to and did not appear as mobile as he will need to be. Personally, I hope he redshirts and comes back next year. Also, Tre Green says he has added 15 pounds and he certainly looks much bigger than when I talked to him last year.
