Practice in full swing for Trojans

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University football team hit the field for its second practice of the preseason on Tuesday evening, when the Trojans worked for just under three hours in shorts in Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium.
Rain that fell on the Troy area throughout the day forced the Trojans off of their practice fields in just the second day of fall workouts, but their AstroPlay surface in the 30,000-seat stadium dried in plenty of time to get the last workout in shorts in. The Trojans will work in shells for the first time on Wednesday.
Troy made one personnel move for Tuesday’s practice, moving freshman quarterback to wide receiver to try to take advantage of his athleticism.
