Noce was 5-for-8 in skeleton work after missing on his first two attempts. Chris Miller shook Montis Harrison with a move on the sideline and hauled in a 25-yard pass and Noce found Joe Smith over the middle, splitting the coverage for a 30-yard gain. On his next pass, the junior hooked up with Mike Brooks on a tight end release for a wide-open 20-yard pickup.
On his final attempt, Noce hit Jason Wood on a slant in front of Chris Jones for 25 yards.
Hollins looked sharp in his turn, hitting on 6-of-8 attempts with two dropped balls.
Out of the shotgun, the JUCO transfer led Gary Vincent for a 25-yard strike over the middle, then hit Chuck Walker underneath before pumping and firing to Wood for 10 yards over the middle. Hollins then spread the ball on a tight end drag to Manuel Burton, who made a diving catch for a short gain. Hollins then pumped and went deep, hitting Jerome Stegall for 35 yards over two defenders after the former Wynne standout put a move on Tyrell Johnson inside and got free on the sideline.
Hollins then hit Ed Hampton over the middle behind the safety and zipped a short hitch to Smith to finish his series.
