..... they lost to the future MAC Champs. Ball State could make that three times, if everything falls in to place.

Ball State would have to win the rest of their games and finish 5-3. They may not face another opponent as tough as NIU.

If Toledo loses the rest of their games they are 4-4. They have yet to play NIU and BGSU. I don't know about Ohio though.

NIU would have to beat CMU and Toledo, then lose to WMU and finish 5-3 (tie goes to BSU).

That would mean that CMU would lose to NIU and BSU, and finish 5-3 at best, losing the tiebreaker to BSU and NIU.

WMU would have to lose to either EMU or CMU, so they finish 5-3 at best, and lose the tiebreaker to BSU.

With EMU's future projected loss to BSU, they finish 4-4 at best.

That would give the West to BSU.

Congratulations on your big upset. 04-bow It sure as hell upset me. 03-nutkick  :cuss: 03-banghead

Hey, Huskie Jon, you let the cat out of the bag. You have ruined the incredible excitement that MAC fans everywhere were going to experience when the Cards win the MAC West this year. It's like knowing how the movie ends before you even see the movie at all. But then, it will still be tremendously exciting for all of us Ball State fans. And that's what really matters afterall.

P.S. I have no doubt your Huskies will bite the Chips and maul the Rockets. Enjoy.

I have not gone to your board often. What would be the point? But the recent post on this board is amusing to say the least. You do not really expect to win the West division do you? Get a grip! UT, NIU, and Miami are and have always been the class of the MAC. Notice that I have excluded bg. How could you even possibly dream of winning anything in this league? Have a nice winter, and we will see you again next fall.

owensrocket is sorely challenged when it comes to MAC football history. Since joining the MAC in the 1970s, Ball State has as many MAC championships as Toledo. Northern Illinois has won once in its entire history, and that was way back in 1985.

Well, you called it. What is your prediction for the NIU-WMU game?
