Big time congrats to Middle Tennesee for shutting those MACsters up on the road!
FIU (still DI-AA) hung in there and finished off traditional I-AA power Youngstown State. Way to go guys.
FAU, you're starting to scare me, but you won't scare the Trojans.
To a couple of teams that lost, if I don't mention your team, don't be offended, these are the ones that come to mind.
To North Texas, keep your chin up guys, there is alot of season left. I respect NT and I don't want you to give up.
ULL - You gave LaTech hell at their home field. I don't know if there were any no-calls or bad calls, but you gave them hell, and its obvious you've improved and are serious this year.
To all the teams, come on, lets win some OOC games!
GO SUN BELT!

Everything is looking up for this year.
Troy could go undefeated, how awesome would that be?!
Just wish my Hilltoppers would hurry up and make the move!

Trojans1andAll,
We are in a transition year (the same as FAU, no different). Next year, we will be full-fleged I-A SBC members and may play against Troy. Thanks for the props, but please know that we will be Div.1-A members next year (2005). :D

Of course you will be, I totally understand that. But, this year you are still technically DI-AA right? Sorry I didn't mention your transitional phase.
FIU got a big win, be happy!
GO TROJANS!

They are inbetween. They do not qualify for Div 1-AA playoffs, nor do they qualify to play in any bowl games. They are just in transition.

UNT is traditionally a slow starter :bang: . In 3 years of entering conference games, here's our record.
2001 0-4 (Lost 1st conference game to go 0-5)
2002 1-4
2003 1-3 (later beat Troy for a 2-3 OCC record)

Good.. I personally remember the FAU / Troy Mud Bowl at your place a few years back.
But I don't want to even look that far in advance. There's a lot of football to be played in between. Especially the D1-AA teams who are on our schedule.
Hoping for health to both teams and stay undefeated till then!
This is going to be fun
