Thoughts? I've heard a few say they really liked our unis - I don't think they're changing except for the helmet logo - smaller dog with the NIU underneath (the one think I think we missed with just the dog head was red on the helmet).

University wanted to update the logo, and the Prez wants it on the helmets. Last year was just the Huskie head, and it looked a little bland. I like this new one - adds the head and the red back in.

I liked it just being the pooch's head, that grew on me.

It just looks crowded to me. Now the NI...that's classic.

the Buffalo helmets with the horns are pretty funny, so I guess it could have been much worse...just 2 little dog ears, one on each side of the helmet.

I like the UB helmets with horns. Don't make fun.

As for gog ears? HILARIOUS idea.

If it were up to me, I'd bring back the interlocking NI for NIU...

I'm with Clay. Wear anything under the sun, as long as it breathes well. Just beat USF.

That goes for BGSU too.

South Florida could be our toughest opponent this year. It's hard to say. Is it Missouri? Is it Toledo? Is it NIU?

Dunno.
