I must say IMO Toledo has the best and most active board. They have the most posts. This shows that they have support.

EMU, AKRON, BUFFALO and BALL STATE need more people to visit it's boards.

EMU is the worst. Maybe worst is not the right word.
They lack support and interest.
How come BG's post board doesn't have a count down to game clock?
I think those clocks are cool

Take a look at the teams with the most posts - Toledo, Marshall, UCF, BG, and Central Michigan. Looking at last year's attendance figures; Toledo, Marshall, UCF, Miami, WMU, and BG were the best. I don't think WMU has really found out about this board yet, nor Miami.

I wouldn't expect Kent, Akron, and EMU to have a lot of posts because they don't really have any fan support to begin with.

Maybe they can prove me wrong!

We know about it. We're just not using it. Historically, the Miami crowd has stuck together in one spot. We didn't use Rivals. We've never really used CNNSI or ESPN. And, with all due respect to the hard work and evangelism of the organizers here, I don't suspect we'll use this one much either.

Suit yourself, but you would think you might want to defend yourselves against the rest of the MAC fans.

I should think, rather, that that lot will be relieved that they need not "defend themselves" against me.

(Demonstrations available every once in a while but with nowhere near the frequency of say, 1998. But you could ask around.)

Marshall already has 3 boards that are pretty active: The Grapevine, Herd Nation, and GoHerd.com. Additionally, there is the HerdRumors message board. That's 4 I'm aware of and there may be another one or two that I'm missing.

I don't know about other Marshall fans but, when I'm going to talk strictly about Marshall sports, I go to one of the Marshall boards. When I want to talk about the MAC or other MAC schools, I come here.

BTW, too little, too late SO folks. I understand bills have to be paid and I really don't object to banner advertising. But, when I was closing 4 or 5 pop up/under windows, that was just plain old silly.

A countdown clock is in place at www.Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com. I suspect most BG fans will hang out there, rather than in the BG forum here.

But this place is great for meeting fans of other schools.

Like DG says, Miamians know this place is here. And most of you folks know where we are. Trust me -- we'll see plenty of each other.

Geez, we have four or five very active boards. It takes a little while to get guys to trickle in from the other ones. Most MUg fans don't visit the MAC boards so they don't know about this site. IT is only a few of us a-holes that like to keep the balance of power in check.

I don't know what triggered this memory, but did any of you guys ever see the "BG is hell" web site? (I guess it could still be up). Some grad student posted how BG was hell. "Not like hell, but an actual level from Dante's Inferno".

It was amusing.

I'm not aware of many really active individual boards for any of the 3 Michigan MAC schools - but the 3 of them together are pretty active on the M-Live boards.

That would explain why there seems to be no EMU traffic on the other boards at all. But to be fair, they have the least traffic of the 3 Michigan Compass schools on M-Live too.
