Stat rankings: The NCAA has created a special category for Florida Atlantic and Florida International for statistical rankings because the Owls and the Golden Panthers are playing a hybrid of I-A and I-AA teams this season.

However, FAU's three games this season have been against I-A competition and have not been watered down by weak competition.

After three games the Owls would rank fairly high in I-A's major statistical categories.

FAU has gained 304.3 yards passing per game, which is more than all but eight I-A teams. The Owls are averaging 441.3 yards per game and would be 21st among I-A teams.

Tight end Anthony Crissinger-Hill's 114 yards per game would make him sixth among receivers.

TV: FAU's Oct. 9 game vs. Texas State is scheduled to be televised by Fox Sports Net. It originally was scheduled as a night game, but the kickoff was moved to 1:30 p.m.
