Iowa - #5 in the nation, most likely moving up...undefeated in Big Ten...making OSU lucky they don't play each other....11-1 overall.

Maryland - #19 in the nation...4-1 in the ACC.....8-2 overall...beat #13 NC State

Virginia - 5-2 in the ACC....8-4 overall....Also beat NC State this weekend.

Oh yeah, the J.A.R. Arena looks UNBELIEVABLE and the scoreboards are sweeeet......

I believe the football team's OSU and Purdue trips paid for most of it..... 05-nono

And then they blame Owens for losing too many

Heck, give us Cal Poly, SE Mizzou St. and another cupcake school...our record doesn't look so bad does it? But nah...we make our football team pay the price for the University.

Remember, whatever the football team makes, we share w/ the rest of the University.

I think this year our trips to Iowa and Maryland pay for the Girls TiddlyWinks team's new uniforms (since we have to share w/ the rest of the university)....and the Virginia game pays for the rifle team's new targets.

I thought the big 3 for this season were-

#112 Central Michigan - blown 14 point halftime lead and outscored 21 in second half

#158 Eastern Michigan - blown game with no adjustments at half

#106 Ohio University - blown 10 point lead, outscored 27-0 over the last 3 quarters the week after beating Marshall

Akron squeaked out a win over #173 Buffalo on Saturday and has game left against #151 Kent State.

In case you were wondering Akron is now ranked #126 by the BCS computer, behind 20 I-AA teams. At this rate the Zippers are headed to 1-AA with a huge crowd of 800 showing up at the Bowl for the Buffalo game. Was this the right bait to get the young recruits excited about the chance to play for the Zips?

Winners make plays, losers make excuses. 03-puke

No, that would be the Marshall game that got recruits excited.

How did the Zips "squeak out a win"??? What game were you watching? We dominated every phase of the game and we played like crap. The BCS rankings are a joke anyways, and you're a fool if you follow them. OSU would get beat 49 out of 50 times against Iowa. We're better than every 1-AA team there is, and if we DO drop down(which we wont) we'll win the National Championship every year.

Those "blown games" were tough times for our defense, which has played exceptionally well the past 4 or 5 weeks compared to the beginning of the year. Maybe they were "blown"...maybe they weren't. Every game in the Mid-American Conference is a battle to the end...just ask Marshall.

That's why the MAC is so great to me.
