Gee I didnt know Rogers Beckett and Billy Lyon came back to Marshall....

I think you`ll need 18 people on the field to stop our running game. The more we run....the more Sandwich stays on the sideline.

That's about the same amount of people you'll need to slow our offense.

Slowing your offense will be up to 22 men. Toledo offense controlled the ball for over 36 minutes last night. Defense clamped down when offense wasn't on the field. It's a 22 man defense the Rockets play! 04-bow

If last year was a fluke, what was the year before (42-0)?

Obviously the 2000 MACC was not won by the best team in the conference, just the better of the 2 teams that day. I said the 2000 MACC was a fluke because a loss to a 6-5 Marshall team was the fluke. WMU was obviously distracted with talk of coach Darnell going to Missouri, UNC and others. I still believe that the CMU loss and MUg losses by WMU were due to that distraction, but hey we lost to a team that we showed to be inferior earlier in the year. Marshall showed up to play that night and we didn't plain and simple.

Cool picture of Chester Taylor.

Goofball, chester has done a great job for the Ravens this year. He has played alot on third down, being a better pass catcher then Jemal Lewis out of the back field. Today, he made a great catch and run for 17 yards and a first down in the 4th quarter of the Ravens win over Cincy.

Almost like cheering for your x wife to win more of your money in a court arbitration. YOu want her to do ok but you still hate her.

I don't see that happening for one reason...UT is playing better than anyone in the MAC these days...4 straight wins and the way they stormed back on my Falcons was something. UT is a very confident bunch at the moment and I see them winning this Weekend...barring any late "interference" calls! :D :D :D

UT can tie BGSU for the 2nd most MAC titles in history at 10, behind Miami's 13.

Exactly! Probably 3 teams are playing significantly better football than when the season started. UCF, Ohio, and Toledo. I think UT takes it even on the road.

Looks like the boys in Vegas disagree with you guys.
Marshall is currently a 6 point favorite over Toledo.
Go Herd!

I'll take the Rockettes and the 6. 03-wink

Best of luck to both teams and win those bowl games so the MAC can prove, once again, that more than 2 teams should be in bowl games.

Toledo has been the underdog against both NIU and BG also. Odds don't mean a thing.

Time for a 3-peat!

<span style='color:blue'>2000</span>
TOLEDO 42
Marshall 0

<span style='color:blue'>2001</span>
TOLEDO 41
Marshall 36

<span style='color:blue'>2002</span>
Toledo @ Marshall
My Prediction:
TOLEDO 42
Marshall 28

Toledo is a much better team right now than Marshall is. Even with a couple late interference calls, Toledo will still come out on top. WHY??? Because they won't let the game be close enough that a couple cheap calls will hurt them. I would take Jones over Leftwich any day. I see a -peat for the Rockets.
