I'd like to know any feedback on your baseball program and if you have all travel well, particularly to places like UAB. Thanks.

There hasn't been much baseball talk yet. We're just getting used to football season being over, and the hoops season is already more than half over!
The general word is, Troy baseball is on the rise, with good recruits starting to gel under the new coach. The facilities (new baseball stadium, etc.) are nice, which should help Troy as it enters the competitive SunBelt next year.
The A-Sun is pretty good on the diamond as well.
I would imagine any game with UAB would bring out fans from boths sides. I wish UAB wold give in and play Troy in basketball and football in home and home series.

Hey BMarkey,
I would like to see UAB play Troy in a home and home in football, but not basketball. It would drop our RPI down way to much. Birmingham Southern wanted to play UAB also. After two years of getting smacked around, they decided they didn't want to play us anymore.

Drop your RPI? Give me a break!
The only reason UAB will not play Troy - an in-state rival university of at least equal sports stature, and a "Dance" and NIT participant for two straight years - would be fear of losing.
