WKU 76

Cajuns played their best basketball game of the year and laid it all out on the court. You know the crowd was in to it when the head coach stays after the game to speak to the crowd on the PA mic. This was THE statement game for the Cajuns this year. I've been saying it for a while now, look out Sun Belt, the Cajuns are looking to repeat!!!

u guys prolly won't admit it but it seems like western is the game everyone gets up for. it has always been a good rivaly between western and lala. lala has always had better athletes than western (fertile recruiting ground in your back yard) but usually western has been fortunate enough to have better coaching.

u guys have always been stacked with talent and now it looks like u might have a decent coach to go with it. like 'beed said in an earlier post, take it out on us now cuz horn is puttin' together a beast in the east. please remember dahbeed told u this next year and the next year and the next year. he's not doing a bad job in his second year after completely remaking a team that dennis felton had put together for pound it down low basketball.

congrats on the good win. the toppers are just too thin and too short to win on the road. btw, did the team all gather at the halfcourt circle and have a prayer like jesse used to lead them in? that's what he said when they danced here, it was a religous ceremony.

Yes they did. However, I didn't like when WKY players got together at mid-court and jumped around before the game. Very disrespectful.

r u sayin' it's disrespectful to jump on the center court at an opponents house? jesse said it was sumpin' the boys did to build cohesion, he said it was religous not disrespectful.

btw, what did u think of our freshman, courtney lee? that is the type of recruit horn is bringin' in. give us a couple years and we'll be able to match the talent that lala always has. it should make for some wars between us.

this type of rivalry is what college hoops is about. it don't get much better.

I definitely think UL gets up for the WKU game; but certainly no more so than when we play UNO. My take only, but I still think UNO is our biggest basketball rival. Long standing in-state rivalry.

Oh no wait, I thought WKY fans that it was disrespectful when you "dance" and pray at midcourt? If thats the case, then WKY fans are hypocrits because their players do the same on opponent's courts.

And for the record, I don't think its disrespectful. Everyone does it and no one complains, except for WKY fans when someone does on the hallowed court at Diddle.

ASU given a choice will take a sweep of UALR if the cost is being swept by WKU.

I'd lose to anyone if it meant sweeping Western.

After all, they are probably going to be your NBA Eastern Conferenc Champs this year.

They're better than UK and Louisville,

Once they move to D-I in football (yeah right) they'll be a top 25 program overnight.

The highest compliment you could bestow on us. Thank you.

And Cajunman, didn't you say ya'll were getting there earlier for the WKU game than any other game this season?

Tell me the truth... deep down in places you don't talk about at parties... the Sunbelt holds a special place for WKU.

When a Cajun coach comes over to us during warmups and tells us that we need to heckle the crap out of Topper players and coaches (which we do anyway), then yea, you can say we have a special place for Toppers.
