Heard today that UB's offensive coordinator/QB coach Bill Lazor has been hired by the Atlanta Falcons. He has been hired as offensive quality control coach. Lazor served under Falcons offensive coordinator Pete Mangurian while Mangurian was head coach at Cornell from 1998 through 2000. I certainly can't blame Lazor for moving on as this is obviously a huge step forward for him. This certainly has got to be a big blow to the UB football program. Just last week UB lost Coach Carlin to New Mexico State. Let's hope Hofher can hire some quality coaches to replace Lazor and Carlin. Lets hope it's soon too as Spring ball starts in just a few weeks!
