I hope no one drops one of these things. Someone could get hurt!

I learn so much on these boards!
Marshall U. invented the bobblehead as a promotion device!
This is going to come as a shock to my Mr. Red bobblehead! I don't know how I'm going to explain it to him!

Didn't the Leftwich bobblehead get manufactured to attempt to win him the Heisman? Did I miss something, or did Carson Palmer relinquish the trophy and give it to Lefty?

The Herdiban must have pretty low standards if their version of "success" involves simply manufacturing the damn doll, rather than actually having the doll's creation accomplish the original goal. 03-razz

We thought about changing our sigs to read, "Michael Turner, the REAL MAC Heisman Candidate." We opted for the bobbleheads after we saw that your campaign failed to get Turner ANY votes. :D

Marshall averages Mac Champiohships, what about your team.

OK, you want something else, how about before we joined the league, all of you guys played 3 yards and a cloud of dust. After we came in and blew you guys away for the first couple of years, all of a sudden, alot of Mac teams were starting to throw the ball.

Does this mean that we'll soon start paying players who beat up women and stab people after getting the answers to tests given to them? Luckily, my team can win without having to bug the opponent's locker rooms, but it does sound like a way to get an advantage should we stop being as competitive. Thanks, Marshall...you're such an inspiration to us all! :arse:

I, um, acquired a Leftwich bobblehead. It's never even been taken out of the box.

I can say it did not win the vote of our local Heisman voter.

But, the real question is, "can the Rockettes win without tossing urinals at cops or is that an integral part of the arm strengthening program?" Still waiting for any media outlet to pick up on this amazing "bugging" scandal. Maybe you can call in Jayson Blair to investigate. 03-lol

I don't have a Leftwich bobblehead. But I do have a couple of these.

They gave these away at Marshall Stadium the night that the Miami coaches went berserk.

I really do want an Amstutz doll.

Here is The Blade account.

I've said horribly mean things about Amstutz before, and I promise I'll say them again. But I've got to admit. I kinda like the guy. He's taking this well:

They knocked a good (proportionally) 50 lbs. off the man! :bluethumb:

I guess Brian McClure throwing for over 10,000 yards from 82-85 at BG didn't happen? At the time, I believe he was only the 2nd player in NCAA history to do that. Yep, we never threw the ball until the Herd rejoined the MAC>

You want something else? Before Marshall rejoined the league, most of us in the MAC never dealt with infractions either.

My guess, although I don't know for sure, and don't have time to look it up, so nobody feel obligated to contact any of my former supervisers to tell on me...

is that while it's okay to offer COACH bobbleheads as part of a marketing package, it's not okay with the NCAA to offer eligible student-athlete bobbleheads...

The University cannot make profits on an individual student athlete.

Anyway, I like the Amstutz bobblehead!
