In an effort to combat Stan "Running Man" Hill's injury problems, head coach Bobby "Booger Miner" Pruett announced today that any marshall player that chest bumps Stan "Running Man" Hill will be fined up to one week's paycheck. On another "Running Man" related topic, Pruett also announced that any Huntington police officer found to be harassing, following, attempting to arrest, or walking near the "Running Man" will lose their preferred tickets o all future games. Pruett stated that "He will discipline his players any time they may break the law. The police and courts have no business disciplining his players." Requests for a comment from Cabell County Sheriff resulted in a stammered apology from the Sheriff to the "Booger Miner" stating that is was very concerned about the ticket allotment for his deputies. I still don't understand this.
Why do University (sic) of Toledo fans find that funny? Where is the joke?
Talk to the BGSU athletic department. I just type BGSU and the damn tm thing keeps showing up.

Too bad, I'm still waiting for Kerry to define himself.
If he's doing it, I'm not hearing about it from the mainstream sources. (You know, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Graham)
Seriously, yesterday on WTOP (MOR news) their political analysts said that Edwards was all style and no substance. They ragged on him for no experience too.
This is looking like Hardcore Holly vs Brock Lesnar.

Talk about no respect. I can't believe that.
I can...UT has NO defense.
Then why did BGSU score less than their season averaged against UT last year? It was even at BGSU.
I think that all of the trademarks may be unpleasantly surprised at the play of UT's defense come next November. Also, did CFN mention Mr. Jacob's brilliant performance at the TMSU spring game?
:withstupid:
Once again...if the spring game carried any weight than limp-wrist would be benched in favor of Council. (BTW-I define limp wrist as someone who can't throw the ball down field consistently...not someone who can complete over 70% of his passes that only go 10 yards in the air to a wide open receiver)
And none of you were at the BGSU spring game so shut your hole! As was mentioned many times before...Omar was not in mid-season form as to be expected in that game, but he was...and will be just fine. He had 2 TD passes dropped in that game...and unlike UT...we actually have a defense and a pass rush.
Just remember you jokers...Defense wins championships and you better hope yours plays way better than expected or you are looking at a 4-5 loss season!

Yeah, a young successful veep choice is definitely no match for a guy whose only experience was trading Sammy Sosa, insider trading, and being the a 1 term figurehead Governor of a gerrymandered state because some guys on the radio said so.
Seriously, WAY too much is being made of the VP choice. Edwards is much more qualified for Vice President than Bush was (and is) for President. The choice is going to have way less effect on this election than the media likes to pretend. This election will be about ideologies. Basically, it comes down to whether there are enough people paying attention, or not. A lot of people are ready for a change and a lot of others are digging in their heels and planning to support their past mistakes by making them all over again. Despite the media's assertions to the contrary, there are a lot of undecideds out there who will elect one of these men for the first time.

I agree Oddball. The amazing thing to me is that Bush/Cheney still has anywhere near 40% approval. If you're caught sticking it to one consenting female you get impeached. If you stick it to an entire country - well - that's OK. Take a country to war based on lies, being AWOL, insider trading (much bigger deal than Martha's), endorsing tortue are apparently not impeachable offenses.
Vice President is mostly figurehead anyway, but it sure puts Edwards in the sweet seat for 2012.

I guess if Clinton bombs Iraq to cover up a sex scandal, it's "Ok"?

President Clinton was attempting to kill Osama bin Laden.

And, yes, "wagging the dog," was the Republican spin at the time.
I figured most Republicans were terribly embarassed about having criticized President Clinton for attempting to kill Osama bin Laden.
I guess I was wrong.

On behalf of NIU Huskie fans everywhere, allow me to say how glad I am that we'll be facing the first three-time Heisman Trophy winner in game 3, missing his "mid-season form" by at least one game and undoubtedly saving Huskie defenders from an impending horrible, biblical-proportion embarrassment.

I prefer to credit the fantastic play of your CB Patton, but if you'd rather chalk it up to inept Huskie QB play, so be it. It doesn't give your team much credit, though.

With all due respect to my BG colleague, I agree with HD. Our defense basically played out of their minds that game (a few of our fans were also out of their minds - presuming they had brains - but I'm sure that topic will be rehashed with the up and coming DeKalb game).
I thought both Haldi and Turner would have good performances with our defense making opportunistic stops as they were most of the season. I didn't think they (BG D) were going to play as well as they did against the NIU offense.
Although the Huskie offense wasn't firing on all cylinders, I think our defense caused that disruption.
I don't know what the '04 game will bring. It should be fun at any rate!

How is launching rockets into Iraqi cities attempting to kill Bin LAden?
Please, tell me another!!!
You're right. It's all a right win conspiracy. It's just a nice coincidence that Clinton bombed Iraq after discracing the Oval Office and getting caught.
But afterall, he was after Osama right? Afterall, we had troops in Afghanistan looking for him, right?

Yes, Clinton smashed into Afghanistan and Sudan. However, he also bombarded Iraq. This operation was known as "Operation Desert Fox", or if you want the actual meaning, you could say "Operation Get Attention Off My Impeachment".
If you really believe Clinton had a purpose for launching missles in the middle east, then perhaps you will also believe that I have a flying pig in my closet.
