Picked up a "Kent Stater" paper the other day; listed that might be of interest to all the dedicated
Kent State posters here:

1: From the Stater, "In the late fall construction will begin for the softball stadium. The Kent staff plan
on hiring an architect to design the field. Plans include the construction of a press box and
expanding the bleacher seating."

2. Also from the Stater, "Plans also are underway for the renovation of the Gene Michael Field home
for the mens baseball team since 1965. The construction plans includes new bleachers, lights,
a sound system and a plaza which will be a covered area where fans can meet before and after
the game or take shelter from the weather."

I'm a bit surprised by the mentioning of the softball stadium, since the one in front of Dix Stadium
was just constructed a few years ago.

Thanks for the update. 04-bow

Now if they could do something with the damn rafters in the MACC we'd all be happy. 03-banghead
