Have any pics of the planned Smith Stadium renovation been posted anywhere yet? If it was posted on the Haven, I may have missed it and since none of our SBC brothers and sisters ever read the Haven :snore: how 'bout someone sharing it with us.....

The funding for the designing phase was just approved by the Regents. Their are some generalities that have been shared, but no pictures/sketches that have been published.

Which endzone is supposed to have seating? I think I heard that one end would have seating and the other end would be a small hill with the potential for future seating, if needed.

The endzone on Big Red Way (soon to be College Heights Blvd) will have berm, for about 3K seating. The endzone on University Blvd will have a three-story athletic/academic training facility, no seating.

Also, how much will the current side change? I'm assuming it will remain a double-decker....

I am not sure how the existing seating will change. I do know they are gutting every part of the existing stadium.

Also, I failed to mention some other features. On the new side of seating their will be 6K seats and eight luxury boxes.

Mounted on the three-story academic/athletic training facility will be a video board. The building sounds nice. It will include a 15K square foot weight room!

I'm guessing the existing seating doesn't change. But there'll be an addition to seating. I'm estimating somewhere between 24-26k will be the total with potential future expansion.
