Very sweet marketing idea! I see them all over the Akron area with the pic of Charlie Frye.

Josh Harris is being promoted as "Lethal Weapon 5"

Glad to see your marketing dept working. I'm sure KSU has some intern running copies of fliers right now to post around campus and downtown Kent. I'm sure that'll get the crowds out. 03-banghead :chair:

Sounds great. I remember the add campaign a few years ago prior to the Nebraska game. Something like "do you believe in miracles?" Too bad I won't be able to see them till game day. I love walking around campus. So many huge improvements! Go Zips! 04-rock

I remember those boards! I live in Green and remember one down on Rt 241 that had the score, Akron 35, Nebraska 7 (or something like that).

Frye is getting a lot of good reviews on many different sites. If you guys can get that defense going, I can see the Zips winning the East.

Best of luck...

GO FALCONS!!

Agreed!

Hey...just think if BGSU was still in the East  The East would be the MAC powerhouse!!

But overall...I'm glad you're in the West  03-wink

AO,

I'd rather be in the East...made road games to Akron amd Kent a 15 min ride!

Plus, our traditional rivals like Kent, Ohio U & Miami are there.

But, it's cool being is the West too! We have our hated rivals, the rockettes, there and NIU could become a good rivalry. WMU is a soild bunch every year and Ball St has won 5 MAC titles over the last 30 years.

Good luck Zips...
