Since football season is just around the corner. Let's talk about the upcoming season.
Besides the Auburn game, what's everyone's take on this season? The Auburn game is great for the program and I feel we might hang with them for a quarter, but we just don't have the numbers....but you never know....
Who will be our toughest oponent this season? Will WIU and SIU be our top Gateway games or will there be a surprise? Besides playoff games, what's your prediction?

I say we win the whole thing and then go 1A just like when we took the step up from OVC to Gateway!

I like the way you think Truman. That season and the finale of the OVC conference race have to rank at the top of all WKU accomplishments..... payback was priceless.......
The WIU game at Mocomb will be our toughest game outside of Auburn. The Leathenecks get fired up for us.....
I believe SIU lost several seniors so I don't think we'll have a problem with them but I could be wrong.
I wonder if EKU will ever return to the power of yesteryear. Don't get me wrong, I love kicking their arses every year, but nothing is more exciting than a close game with a heated rival....

The Gateway will have it's usual suspects, SIU, UNI, WKU and WIU. However, I think WIU will be down this year. Illinois State and SMS could be sleepers. I think it will come down to WKU or UNI this year. WKU has a great advantage this year, with both SIU and UNI at home.
