Anyone else get Volume One, Issue One of Kent State Sports News? What did you think?

Considering there's not much to report on in August, not a bad first effort. Infomative enough, but I hope subsequent issues are a bit "newsier." At least it shows some effort. One item of note is the announcement of a new web site designed to launch this fall- http://www.kentstatesports.com - and a description of its features. Oh, and yes, we DO have a SID Director- Will Roleson.

Finally, some words of encouragement from Dean Pees about the prospects for this year's team

How did you get Kent State Sports News? B&G Club membership? If so, I need to join. Can't get info from the papers, et al.

It's the first issue, so I am not entirely sure. Blue and Gold Club members are mailed a copy. There may be other ways to get one. It's published by the Athletic department; I'd call or drop them an email. Maybe it's your chance to connect with Will Roleson.

I live in a Chicago suburb and my copy arrived on Monday, Aug. 18. Safe to say they are all "in the mail."
