I hope losing the All-Star game to Bowling Green, will encourage Owensboro to get on the ball and build a new arena. The Owensboro Sportcenter (a showpiece in it's day) has outlasted it's usefulness. Back in the 50's, the Sportcenter was said to be top-notch......

That's good news to hear. This combined with the recently announced extension on the Girl's Sweet 16 can only help WKU from both an academic and athletic standpoint. The campus for the most part is looking as good as ever has and the athletic facilities are drastically improving. Once the Football stadium renovation is completed and the new Track and Field facility built, the athletic facilities will be in wonderful shape.
