Not even close....our starters didn't even play the whole 2nd half
700 yards of total offense(school record)...this game is a good confidence booster. Defense played very well, caused a lot of fumbles and turnovers....
but the best part were the BANDS :eek: I've never seen anything like it! 20,000+ witnessed a great showing!

The Howard game meant nothing and this game will come back to haunt Akron when another 1-AA team comes calling in October. Cal Poly and their veer attack will confuse the Akron defense and you can bet the Akron team will not take another 1-AA seriously. This all adds up to a big L on Homecoming.
If you really can take pride in running up the score on a joke team from 1-AA then this is your big day so savor the flavor because chances are pretty good the Zippers are staring at 5-7 for the season. :wave:

The score was not run up. You must have been huddld next to you am radio listening to Penn State pound your flashers or whomever pounded the Penguins.
