I like the part where he lauds Idaho with praise. When they sucked in the Sun Belt last year with 2 1-A wins.

People can B*&%h about the Sun Belt, but it's been a good conference for us (North Texas). We're improving & building facilities for the future. Something we couldn't have done if we'd gone to the WAC.
+++++++

At North Texas, the spoils of four consecutive Sun Belt Conference titles include a new, state-of-the art training complex, a 6,000-square foot weight room, a spacious new locker room with players lounge and three full-size practice fields.

Among the standouts enjoying the new digs will be the nation's last two rushing champions, Patrick Cobbs (2003) and Jamario Thomas ('04). The running game will be the Mean Green's calling card again this season.

" Yea and after WKU goes 1A you will be the second best football school in the Sunbelt. Second to THE TEAM THAT RULES THE SUNBELT!"

Well, WKU has about the same chance of beating Auburn as UNT does of beating a IA non SBC team.

Yes, and in the past SI did a two-page layout on Kansas State and labeled them as Pitiful State. Opinions are like noses everyone has one.

Go SBC Football!!!!!

Truman, kinda hard to talk smack about being the best I-A team in the Belt, when we aren't even I-A yet.

Smack talk is dangerous. I hate crow and I hate egg on my face, so I don't participate in it.

Galo -- MeanGreen and I are cool. I believe he knows the spirit in which I am posting. I also know that WKU will take some lumps when we go 1A every Sunbelt school will have the better part of a decade head start on us.

However, I started the "THE TEAM THAT RULES THE SUNBELT" stuff on another board when all those guys thought we were all like one or two posters on Haven that look down their noses at our conference.

However, the fact remains . . .

Correction:

You have one or two posters who are not like the rest of the Haven, including yourself 03-wink

Thanks but there are several really good guys over there, most of them in fact. Topper Tim is a good friend in fact. Sometimes we get caught up in "group think" and sometimes others tend to paint us all with the same brush. :)
