Has anyone else seen this list? Where is Jim McDaniels?

that Tim Couch is on the list and above Rex Chapman, (who was not a bust as a pro like Couch) not to mention the inclusion of horses are other reasons this list lacks credibilty.

It does say sports figures, but I find it hard to put a horses name on a list of all time greats, unless you're specifically talking about horse racing. It's hard to believe that Clem was listed on there, but not Jim McDaniels. I'm glad to see we at least had a couple on there. I figured it would be stuffed with UK and UL players, coaches, etc.

Tim Couch is on the list therefore this list is not valid.

Well, to give Tim Couch some credit... He was an amazing high school quarterback and did wonderful things for UK while he was there. Didn't he destroy just about every state and/or national passing record while in high school? He could've gone to any school he wanted to, a la Jim McDaniels, but decided to stay close to home and try to do something special. Yes, his pro career has been less than spectacular, but, give him a break, he's played for the Browns. How many pro-bowl caliber receivers, linemen, or running backs did they had while he was there. That makes a big difference. If you remember, Brett Favre wasn't all that while he was with the Falcons, but once he got to GB and had some talent around him (namely Sterling Sharpe) things turned for the better.

That's just my 2 cents worth on Tim Couch. I could argue about several others on that list before I'd knock him off of there.

HS is a moot point, what you do at one level is not an indicator of the next.

As for his career at UK he beat the teams everyone is supposed to beat in a system that was literally tailor made for him. (In order to keep him from transfering CM Newton found a pass happy coach, according to rumor)

I also agree that there are others less deserving but Couch just jumped out me because it was a chance to poke at the blue misters.
