Ok, It is time to predict the score to #2 and #3 in the MAC...

NIU 21
BG 17

Toledo 42
Ball St 14

I think N. Ill pulls it off... I am hoping the do anyway... they need to be undefeated when coming to the Glass Bowl

It is tough to make a prediction when you aren't routing for either team, rather trying to decide which team to route against...

Simple really. A BG loss coupled with the inevitible loss that Miami will hand them effectively eliminates them from divisional play. That makes the path to the West go through the Glass Bowl and makes the Dolt irrelevant. Well, more irrelevant that it already is.

We all know this BG/NIU game can go either way. Both teams have a ton to play for...the difference? BG's home crowd is gonna be loud and crazy and the Falcons will feed off of it.

Plus, they remember what happened in DeKalb last yr...this is gonna be an awesome game either way and, if BG doesn't win, I will be rooting (not routing bob...routing is what BG does to Turdledo! :chair: ) for NIU to run the table and crash the BCS party!

But BG is gonna win! 04-rock 04-rock

My score?

Bowling Green 30, Northern Illinois 24.

GO FALCONS!!! 04-rock 04-rock 04-rock

Nice wish list there Oddy but those plans aren't gonna happen!

Doyt Perry Stadium is irrelevant? Seems ESPN doesn't think so! 03-razz

Going strictly on what would be best for the conference, I am going to pull a little harder for NIU in this one. Sorry sister school bretheren, normally I would be neutral, but the BCS must be proved a fraud and NIU is this year's Tulane/Marshall/BYU. Either way it will be a great game and I would rather go see it than Kent/Miami and that is saying a lot since I miss very few KSU home games.

I think BG wins this game big, although I will be pulling hard for the Huskies. This game will once again prove that any one of the top MAC teams can play with and beat anyone of the top teams in the country, even if that team is from the MAC!

Tough game to predict. :(

I'll go with a sellout crowd in BG witnessing a 34-31 win over NIU. 04-cheers

NIU has been in tough situations against good teams on the road. The 30K or whatever at the Doyt won't intimidate us, and we're used to cheerstix and their noise. Our O and D both can work on hand signals and we've both come from behind late in a game and taken and held a lead despite a late barrage. We're ready for this game.

BG is certainly a tough opponent, but we won last year by shutting down the running game. If Harris has to rely on tossing the ball, I really like our chances - our D keeps the QB off balance, and if he can't run, he'll already be uncomfortable back there.

The key to BG is how seriously they commit towards Turner after getting burned by Sherrill. Turner is not all of our O, but our O is at its best when we can control the clock with Turner and short passes.

Our D just played its best game, as did our OLine. Good timing.
NIU 27
BG 21

A GREAT MAC game for the world to enjoy!! 04-rock 04-rock

I predict a sell out... http://www.bgsufalcons.com

oh wait you all wanted a score... Id say... 28-27

I also predict that the crowd will be much larger than what the stands can hold... something in the near 30,000 range.

Oh yes i will be part of that crowd!

Well, I have made my decisoin... I am going to go tailgate the game, listen to part of the Toledo v Testicle state on the radio... then, around 3 30ish, mosey to one of the bars in BG and watch both the Toledo game and the NIU game..

Is there any good bars near the BG stadium that has more than 1 TV?

Oddball, I thought the correct way to serve you a drink was to throw it in your face, or is that practice limited to women only? 04-drinky

I wouldn't waste perfectly good liquor on you. The end result is another matter. After all, fate pisses on you everyday anyway, right?
