I think we do need a secret meeting in Muncie to know how they always seem to have UT's number, but isn't UT in the same place as MUg right now? Win out and they win their division.

That's funny to hear a Ball State fan talk smack. Trying winning the MACC, actually try getting to the MACC before you talk smack. Toledo has played in 4 of 6 MACC games.....Ball State = 0!

As for Marshall fans: Why would you say Toledo sucks when Toledo beat you in Huntington?

And Overheard is right.....Toledo will still play in the MACC if we win our last 4 MAC games. We were in the same position last season with 2 of those 4 games on the road and we did it. This year 3 of the 4 remaining games are at Toledo. Don't count us out just yet! 03-wink

rocketfootball...wouldn't Ball State win the West if they win out even if UT wins out? You both would only have one conference loss and in head to head BSU wins.
Not very likely however.

UT has to hope that Ball State get another MAC loss.

Nasty, will you crawl back under your rock after your team loses a couple more this year, or will you wait for us to hang 50 on you in the Glass Bowl next season?

I realize that you don't get the chance to gloat often, but you could at least pretend that your team won a game that mattered now and then. Idiot.

The West is still wide-open.

And people who lost to Toledo probably should say that Toledo stinks. It affects you through the transitive property of football.

No, Toledo can beat Marshall anywhere. Ball St. can only do it in Muncie.

Funny. We didn't have any trouble with them in Muncie. :D

We save that for Kent. 03-banghead

Ball State will have their 2nd MAC loss next week when they play at a furious NIU team. NIU will be pissed after losing to BG, and they won't lose at home to a Ball State team that only plays good against Toledo in Muncie.

Ball State also still has to play BG. Yes it is at Ball State, but they are not going to win that game.

No disrespect to NIU, but I wouldn't be pinning my month's earnings on NIU's fervor for Ball State.

They are ripe for an emotional letdown after this one. The BG game was billed nationwide as their coming out party. People were already speculating about the BCS. Heck, ESPN even asked Chryst, while BG was leading by 14, how the MAC would split the revenue from the BCS game should NIU make it.

NIU could stomp a mudhole clean through Ball State next week. Or they could sleep walk through practice because they thing they ruined their season, and get shellacked.

A win over the Huskies next week and Ball State could very well be playing BG in Muncie on Nov. 22 for the West championship. Only Western and Eastern would stand in the way. And neither of them has won a big game yet this season. I warned all of you here after Ball State won at Kent that the Cards were going to upset at least one, possibly two of the next three on their schedule--Miami, Toledo, Northern Illinois. While they didn't show up to play the RedHawks, they took it to their favorite whipping boy Toledo today. Who knows which team will show up in Dekalb? If it is the one who played today, it will be a very interesting game next Saturday. For my money the MAC is the most exciting football conference in the country.

I think the key to BSU is Hill and his confidence...against the Hawks he was benched- what kind of message did that send to the team??? Well Hoke saw the light - Hill has become what he should have been after being MAC frosh of the year and when he is driving the ship- Watch out! We WILL roll into DeKalb and ROLL over a disheartend NIU...I predict a BG meltdown for the Puppies...the two best teams in this conference are Miami and BG...as I said BSU is on it's way back to it's old stomping grounds-MACC. Lets just hope we can get one before MU leaves...

oh -yea- ODDNAD-get a job, get a check, get a car- get the F outta here
