He has all his injuries behind him now plus he came to NORTH TEXAS with a good Texas High School football pedigree and all that at a large 5A Texas HS. After all, he did have the Univ. of California Golden Bears and Univ. of Virginia Cavaliers after his sevices before he got hurt his senior year over in Richardson--that will prove to be their loss.

Sure some may think I'm out on the limb on this, also realizing Darrell Dickey's offense doesn't require large numbers of passes, but I still think Mean Green QB Dan Meager will be the surprise of the SBC this Fall and will become its "Newcomer of the Year."
