Who are you, Mike Thomas???
He'll figure it out and make a smart decision. He should get someone defensive minded because Akron is known for not having a good defense and we'll be OK on offense because we have one of the best QBs in the nation.
Whatever happens, GO ZIPS!!!!!!! and good luck to the new coach

I see your point about the defense thing but you're only looking at one year, and the decision has to be about long-term.

Young Guy- Some firebrand could get this team winning now. But he just might take off after a good season or two. But you'd rather at least have the good season or two, wouldn't you? If he takes off, you might get a disciple like BG did, who knows the system and is ready to step in, or you could get a Knorr. That's bad.
Old Guy- It might be a fantasy, but it would be cool if they got an old guy with a name, a guy who was done dirt by some "big time" program and still wants to prove himself. The name recognition might get the casual fans excited, and he might be more inclined to stick around.

I have to say an old guy with LOTS of experience. The task at hand might be too large for a new guy to take on. This will be a challenge. Please lets not get someone bad!
