They took Rand on as a transfer & now the Bball team has offered Stephen Hannah (sp) a point guard from Hyde Park. This means that there could be two players leaving, if Rand does not pay his own way the first year. Anybody heard any information on how may be leaving or I guess not entering in Tate's case?

Do you have a link on this offer? The guy looks like he could be a 4 year starter at PG if he wants to try NIU.

Flashy Hyde Park point guard Stefhon Hannah, who averaged 23 points and eight assists, is considering Northern Illinois, Ball State and Jacksonville State.

Thanks! :)

I hope he picks NIU over those schools. All we have to tell him is 4 year starter!

I saw him play last Saturday at DePaul in Wendys NYC-Chgo all stars game. He was impressive escpecially late second half playing against alot of D1 talent.

I was unable to find any box scores of the game afterwards . ANYONE have the stats ? NYC hit 12 of 24 threes including the game winner with five seconds to go.

BSU signed a kid today from Chicago and has two others who transferred. BSU is probably done for the year.

From what I know of the situation...and it is good information...it is VERY unlikely that Tate will ever be a Huskie..

You know what, if he doesn't want to be here who cares. I know out here at UNLV the coach only gets guys who want to play for him, not guys who will settle with the program. I hope tate doesn't show up, that way we can have a nice little PG from chicago!

I guess it was just when you said......"I hope Tate doesn't show up"...you certainly were implying that you felt that he had no desire to be a Huskie....as I said, the issue is grades, not desire.....

Today's Sun-Times is reporting that Andre Knox, a 6-2 freshman guard, may transfer to NIU from Loyola.

Anyone know if there is a big, meaty center out there who can finally give us an inside game? There has to be someone out there, even if we have to scour Europe, Asia, and Africa!

I don't think we need as much help at C as we do PG.
