Zips fans,

I live in Green, about 10 min from the Rubber Bowl. After yesterday's win over WMU in the MAC softball tourney @ Firestone Stadium, I took my son Josh over to the RB to check out the new turf....and it looks awesome! Is that NextTurf? We couldn't get in to the RB cuz the gates were locked but I told Josh we will come over for the Marshall and Miami games this season since they don't conflict with BG's schedule.

I am rooting for Akron to win the East and BG to win the West so I only have to drive 10 minutes for the MACC!
I think if Akron can get its defense on track, the Zips are gonna be tough to beat in the East, especially with the Herd and Redhawks at home.

Best of luck this season and I look for The Zips to be right there in the division title chase.

I'm up for a UA/BG matchup Falconfreak. After watching our spring game, it looks like our defense will be improved over last year. The only thing that worries me is filling the huge voids on offense from graduation. Luckily, we have good leadership under center.
The Marshall and Miami games should be good ones. We are hoping to get an upset from one of these teams. Penn State/Virginia/Marshall/Miami.
