Lou needs to go out on a high note.....both for himself, personally......and to set up his son in a nice situation. For that, he probably needs to coach through the 2004 season. I think, regardless of what happens, 2004 will be Lou's last year. If 2004 is a big year, Lou will see that as an opportunity to leave the program in good shape. If it's not, Lou will probably throw up his arms in surrender. Either way......I look for two more seasons out of Lou. I just hope they're good ones.

I think it depends on what we have coming back after 04 . If we have a chance to contend on the national level and we are preseason top 5 and the heavy hitters UGA UF TENN are down some he might just come back for the ultimate notch in his belt. I think Gal is probably right but if we are loaded then maybe 05. After that maybe Spurrier will be ready to come back to the SEC :D

Raptor that was alot closer than people think. That would be sweet!!! Tubby leading the Cocks to the SEC title. Now I will explain Spurrier!! He has a me againt the world attitude. Nobody fits that mold better than USC, Hell the world has been against for over 100 years. 03-wink He could care less about ruffling the feathers of the traditional powers and I think he rather enjoys it. HE WOULD HATE CLEMSON WITH A PASSION. He would tell everyone that we are suppose to beat them like a drum and then he would do it. Just imagine for a minute that bowden was still there. Oh MY GOD we would beat them by 50 and he would laugh at them afterward. What a dream!

The heck with Spurrier and Tubby!! I wanna hear more about this twins/ice cream deal!!! :D 03-razz 04-drinky

Seriously, I always liked Spurrier, even if I couldn't stand the Gators. Spurrier tells it like it is........but he's a straight-up guy and I respect him a lot. Also, as much as he was blamed for running the scores up, I can think of plenty of occasions where he could've done that to us but didn't........in particular he showed Lou's USC teams plenty of respect. I won't forget that.

I actually wish Spurrier the best in Washington, it would be nice to have a college coach make it in the bigtime once in a while (see: Pitino, Floyd)

Finally, someone else who likes Spurrier. I was beginning to think I was the only one outside of Gainsville.

The man can run his mouth because he can, more times than not, back it up. I love that attitude. Like someone posted, if he were to ever coach here, he would tell the world he hates the taters and would care less what anyone thinks.

Regarding Lou, I expect to see him here thru the '04 season, Beth's health willing.

Include me on the list of Spurrier fans. Besides Lou, he's the only other coach I'd rather have right now.

He "supposedly" talks alot, but notice that he almost always backs up what he has to say. He went to UF in '90 and IMMEDIATELY made them a winner, and never won less than 8 games there.
