Hillary said there are flying saucers inhabited by Republicans disguised as a fat interns who tried to control Bills mind and other organs.

I have no link, I just heard her say it, like Willey heard O'Reilly make his claim.

It is posible that you missed that radio show or that you are such a "kool-aid" drinker that it never even registered in your brain.

Can you give me a better example than "he said liberal facist."

Lastly, I have no icons. I pick and choose those that speak intelligently and articulate their points well. Glenn Beck (CNN), Limbaugh, and O'Reilly are all very good. Hannity (Fox) is a moron, as is Michael Savage. Other morons include Jerry Rivers (Geraldo Rivera) Fox, Keith Oberman, and Chris Matthews.

People who fall in the middle include Scarborough, Tucker Carlson (both MSNBC), Neil Bortz, Laura Ingrham, and Tim Russert.

Seizure of land because an endangered Spotted Fruit Fly is seen hatching from a cute nest of maggots.

You realize that article had to do with eminent domain and taking property to be given/sold to private owners? The activist court is a conservative one to boot. Nothing about wacky environmentalists. Lots about strong-arming corporations.

Who knew? There is a book called "Liberal Fascism" 01-wingedeagle

http://thinkprogress.org/2005/11/11/latimes-jonah/

Here is more

Liberalism Is Fascism
As Ludwig von Mises observed, Fascism, Nazism, and Socialism are varying versions of the same core conviction: that it is the sacred duty of popular government to prevent the emergence of profits by public control of production and distribution. What distinguishes Fascism and Nazism from Socialism in economic theory is how they translate "public control" into reality.

For the socialist, it means outright nationalization-government ownership-of private business. In a socialist state, the government owns and operates the airlines, railroads, banks, phone companies, and any other business you can think of. Everyone is an employee of the State.

For the fascist, public or government control is just that-control, rather than nationalized ownership, via complete bureaucratic regulation of ostensibly private business.

As an ardent admirer of Marx, Mussolini coined the term "Fascism" for his brand of authoritarian, patriotic Marxism. Fascism operates under the principle of "might makes right," through the exercise of raw, naked governmental police power.

In America today, the increasingly rough-shod violation of constitutional rights by government agents in the name of "protecting the environment" or the "war on drugs" is an indication of how far we are proceeding in this direction.

Intellectually, fascism is far more dishonest than socialism, which at least has the courage to assert legal ownership of the economy and thus assume the legal responsibility for its functioning.

As we can see, liberals are the pro typical Fascist - they're dishonest and they want Government control of all aspects of our life.

Follow this link for a more detailed discussion of this topic, excerpted from K-House Interactive.

Also, look at this article and compare the information presented here to the actions of Gore, Clinton and Liberals (Democrat and Republican). It is clear we are now in the hands of a Fascist State.

Might as well add the short definition to economic socialism-Most means of production are owned by the government

Market economy-Means of production of production owned by individuals

Marx believed that there were 5 stages of development for man

Hunters and gatherers
Slavery
Feudalism
capitalism
communism which would eventually turn into no central government at all because everyone would be living for the good of everyone and would have no need for central control

I've heard discussions about how far to the left they've gone that they're full circle and fascist. Those are all opinion driven with full blown critiques of the side that they don't fancy.

Still the fact remains that fascism and liberalism are considered antonyms and to use them together is a contradiction in terms.

That was very a good bad find ob1. I'm feeling very hot cold now, I think I'll turn the heat ac on.

I did not say I agree with it but there has been alot of talk that the political spectrum is no longer a straight line but rather a circle
I think both extremes are nuts, and anyone that would back themselves in a corner when it comes to their beliefs deserve what they get
Walking a party line or the line of a certain ideology leaves no room for middle ground

I later tuned back in, specifically to hear that rant about his drug usage where he blamed his surgery, doctor, and his housekeeper for his problem.

I do to, but obviously it's much easier to toe the party line and not think for yourself around here. 03-old

Fascim and Socialism
First off DB there has never been a country that achieved pure socialism, they always ended up becoming facsist states, i.e. Mao, Stalin, and Castro. Understanding the meaning of socialism has nothing to do with seeing the net result every time it was tried.

Now you can call Mao, Stalin and Castro, Maxist socialist if you want, but there was no communal sharing of wealth and work going on here. They were dictators with complete power, who foricibly suppressed their opposition, and controlled all commerce. By the way that defines Fascism.

Most far left kooks advocate socialism but are anything but liberal (see liberalism). True liberalism advocates less, not more government control. The traditional liberal we see today thinks government is the solution. Nationalized healthcare, seizure of land for "good of the environment," seizure of land "to get more tax revenue," etc. Seeing that every attempt at socialism became facsism, and seeing that the what we call a liberal today is much closer to a fascist, the term liberal fascisit makes complete sense.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fascism
Facism
Quote:a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Liberalism
Quote:A political theory founded on the natural goodness of humans and the autonomy of the individual and favoring civil and political liberties, government by law with the consent of the governed, and protection from arbitrary authority.

Middle ground usual equates to giving up something your principles said you shouldnt.

If you believe in smaller government you advocate cutting taxes.

If you believe government is the cure-all you advocate raising them.

If you're the party in power, middle ground is usually to raise them less than one side wanted or lower them less than you wanted.
__________________________________________________________

Middle ground is rarely middle ground. It's usually one party or the other losing out because of a lopsided balance in power.

That's very insightful/ignorant of you dip. BTW, since we're going to quote pop culture, then I'm comfy saying that you're off like a prom dress, that term (and you defending it is hilarious) makes no sense,, just more talk radio bs aimed at the uninformed masses.

You mean like drilling in Alaska? Those nasty liberals.

That 'traditional liberal'. Define that please. Liberalism and Fascism, one in the same, according to dip. lmfao

I like how you have to refer to wikopedia or some dictionary web site for you info.
