It's a great day to be a Huskie fan!
Think of how many scenarios are working out in our favor-
-LSU and Nebraska lose yesterday!
-Boston College will most likely knock out Syracuse
-Either Hawaii or Northwestern will be eliminated today
Will enjoy watching BC's game, and keeping tabs on the other CUSA games. I have a good feeling that by Monday we'll know something about where we're going. I have been caught up in us trying to get the best bowl we can, but I'm also happy just to be in a bowl game and have a chance to win and advance the program.
Enjoy!

Syracuse is throwing a fly in the 5 MAC teams bowling ointment. It could make it interesting, though, as we've heard rumors of Ga Tech getting out of Boise in a trade, and hopefully Syracuse - if eligible - could be involved there or at the SVB.
I wouldn't mind Boise at all if GT was there - not my first choice, but that would be a good matchup. I don't want it at all if it's going to be Wyoming or some nobody.

Ok Dan...you were right...I was wrong
'Cuse is just spanking BC....The Big East just smells this year....the fact that they get a guarenteed BCS bowl is egregious!

Are you kidding? Well then stop being a huskie fan, because right now i would love any bowl. In fact i think the players and coaches would love any bowl and deserve some post season play as a reward. It may not be a great location but it's what the bowl stands for, A great regular season.
I would love a bowl.

I agree wholeheartedly, and said so up until yesterday. As of yesterday, we're able to be a bit more choosy.
With any bowl bid comes bowl notoriety, a trip, a game, and perhaps most importantly, more practices. The great part right now is that it appears that we are almost guaranteed a bowl. So now we can look at it a bit more choosily - and Boise against some crap team, because of GT opting out, would not be my favorite choice.
At this point, I'm REALLY hoping for the GMAC.

And that would be huge with Syracuse probably beating BC!!! So Miss is unlikely to beat Cal next week, so a loss to UAB would probably knock them out.
