With all these bowl invites the mac is receiving, which certainly is great--its kinda funny how the Bowls NEED THE MAC now. if it wasn't for us they would have a HUGE loss of money this year----I certainly hope some of these bowls keep that in mind for years in the future. I HOPE EVERY TEAM fares well in the bowls. What a GREAT two years for the mac. Although we didn;t upset as many BCS teams this year YET, it still has been two tremendous breakout years for the mac, when a 6-5 mac team goes bowling---it really puts us on the map. GOOD LUUCK TO ALL AND GOOOOOO ROCKETS! :D :D :D

Anybody got a link or know what the bowl payouts are this year. Great $$ windfall for the conference. If we're looking for some repeat invites and some respect when it comes to future bowl selections, we better put some butts in the seats. Every MAC team/city needs to get on the bowl bandwagon.

I did asearch but couldn't find anythin--that truly would be a great post though--i would like to see it.

With ticket guarantees and travel costs, there is unlikely to be a huge cash windfall from this, but the notoreity of being in a bowl and the extra practices will definitely help the squads, especially a squad like Akron (if they get in) that has a new coach with only one season and one spring - the extra spring practice can only help his squad going into next year.

I'm watching closely for UCF's bowl invite.

I was trying to keep this post comical based on our past season, but you had to take cheap shots

I think you should give us 2-3 years to declare our program in the shitter. Something tells me we'll be much different in that time period.

Mr. O'Leary went 1-10 in his first season with GT. He then went on to win coach of the year with the Jackets.

Until then, I'll laugh our losses off.

According to them we're playing in the Hawaii Bowl in the 24th and then in Silicon Valley Bowl on the 30th.
