With 4:06 left in the game, the Flashes did the following:
TURNOVER by GERWIG, Nate
REBOUND (DEF) by HAYNES, DeAndre
TURNOVER by GATES, Armon
MISSED LAYUP by EDWIN, Jason
3 PTR by HAYNES, DeAndre
TURNOVER by GATES, Armon
MISSED FT SHOT by HAYNES, DeAndre
MISSED FT SHOT by HAYNES, DeAndre
When analyzing the last few minutes of this game, one should be more disturbed with the three turnovers committed than the two missed free-throws. Turning the ball over that many times in that time span is NOT playing “smart

Turnovers do need attention. We had 12 the entire game to BC's 7. And those in the last four minutes really hurt.
The other thing we ran into was just a bigger, more physical team. That showed in points in the paint. In the second half, BC had 18 points in the pain to our 5. I'll chalk this one up to a size differential and guys like Warzinski and Youngblood playing with four fouls, but we must get a better inside game. This is one more area of his game I think Edwin should step up.
Regarding the foul shots at the end...ultimately, no one feels worse this morning than Haynes. And, he'll win more than he'll lose for us. But, man....
Oh, well, on to the MAC season....

I was watching the gametracker online while also watching the Buckeyes bowl game (ducking) on TV. After not watching the gametracker closely after the Flashes had built a 16 pt lead, I couldn't believe that lead had dwindled in the second half.
Anyway, did anyone else notice the Flashes went to the line 4 times, and the Eagles almost 20? Just curious for those of you who listened, was there any comments by Needle about the calls?

That's for sure. Particularly on the East Coast. Thanks axeme.

I also listened to the game on the BC web cast; their annoucers had loads of respect for Kent St and it was nice to hear that
from the opposite side. When Boston College hit that lane shot to win the game, you would have thought by the way they were going crazy about it that they had just beat a Big Time team.
- I think if this team will learn from this one; putting a team away (of this caliber) on the road takes load of mental and team
toughness (that will come).
- But I'm excited......................becuase this team was flat KICKING their ASSES on their court for most of the game...................
it was great listing to their announcers (who were good) describe just how we were taking it to them.
- Great comeback BC; hope we see ya again!!!
