Saw these facts in the games notes for today. Prior to the 1998-99 season KSU's MAC all timewinning % in men's b-ball was .373. It is now .426 after the last six year run. A 53 pt. increase. Makes this current b-ball run all the more incredible.

With numbers like these, no wonder most alumni and students never follwed KSU sports. Prior to the last few years, men's sports weren't even competitiive. With competitiive being .500.

BTW, Football's all time overall % is .318.

We need to thank Coach Waters for changing the attitude regarding Kent State Basketball and making the Flashes very competitive in the MAC. Waters believed in his players and was able to get them to believe in themselves that they could win.

If only Coach Martin can do the same with the football program. Towards the end of the season, Martin was able to make significant progress in that direction and hopefully he will be able to continue building a winning attitude next year and for years to come.

Go Flashes!!!
