Does nobody care you just broke the second longest home winning streak in the nation, held by the winningest team in the conferance for past three years? Or is there just no one here?

Go to bsufans.com. That's where Ball State fans hang out.

Second winningest team.
Over the last 3 seasons-'02, '03, & '04:
WMU--62 wins (17, 19, 26)
KSU--73 wins (30, 21, 22)
And both teams have 13 wins this season.
But who's counting?

And both teams are having better seasons than BSU.
We kid. BSU has always been my second favorite MAC team since the Majerus days.
Actually, I never care who we lose to as long as the whole season is good. Hope you guys rebound from last night.

We'll be fine once Chapman gets back. Hopefully, that will be Saturday. Interesting you say Ball State has been your 2nd favorite team since the Majerus days. I've always kind of pulled for Kent too since those days. Kent was the the 2nd best team in the MAC when Ball State had its best years, 1988-89 under Majerus and 1989-90 under Dick Hunsaker. I'll always remember the Ball State-Kent State championship game at Centennial Hall (I always thought Centennial Hall was a classier name than Savage) in Toledo in 1989. The Cards just couldn't shake Kent and the game went down to the wire before Ball State pulled out, I think, a 2-point win. My wife nearly had a heart attack. I still have a tape of the game and I get it out and play it once a year about this time. Jim McDonald was a heck of a coach. He got more out of his teams than most coaches did in those days. I always thought he didn't get enough credit when he was Bobby Nichols assistant at Toledo. I was very happy when Kent gave him a chance.

I don't remember what time that game was played, but it very well could have been 11 in the morning. I just remember it was not played at night. And you are right about national exposure via TV. Nearly every time I'm out of state somebody recalls seeing the Ball State-UNLV 1990 NCAA tournament game on TV, even now nearly 15 years later. You can't buy that kind of exposure.
