This Saturday I make my annual journey to the open, tree less and wind-swept plains of western Ohio to watch our Flashes win their first MAC road game of the season. I will be accompanied by my girlfriend as we also make a side trip to Windsor to place a few bets.

I am looking forward to seeing Savage Hall and UT in general. We have seats mid-court, across from the benches. Should be a blast if...

... this team brings a little bit of that MACC swagger with it on the road. They just seem to be a totally different team on the road now that conference play has begun. What happened to the team we had who beat Creighton, had an 18 pt lead at BC, played Marquette and Old Dominion tough on the road ? 03-confused Are MAC arenas more difficult to play in than those ?

I know this team is still "searching" for itself and Gerwig's nagging injuries keeping him on the bench hurts this team down low. Cutley has done an admirable job but we are 8th in the MAC in rebounding margin. Come on Nate, please get healthy.

Anyone else making the trip ?

Savage Hall is really nothing special; it’s just a big old arena. I would recommend really looking around main campus, if you have never seen it, you will enjoy.

My best friend will be there with his UT alumni father in the season ticket section. He said he will be draped in Kent gear, and will be going nuts.

He said UT's been maddeningly inconsistent this year. Giving up 20 point leads all the time. Sound like anybody we know????

We have been very inconsistent, but very good at home 4-0. The problem is 12 of our other games have been on the road, and we have played like garbage on the road. Leading in most of the games in the second half then blowing it.

I remember when it was hard to get a ticket when Kent would play at Savage. Our seats would always be at the very top of the building and it would be packed. What happened? I believe that there were over 9,000 at every game.
